Limerick teenager on course to win European FEI Young Riders Champion

Limerick's Kian Dore was in winning form last weekend

TALENTED Limerick teenager Kian Dore is on course to be crowned European FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale) Young Riders Champion 2023.

Sixteen-year-old Kilcornan teenager Dore won the penultimate leg of the championship in Stuttgart last weekend. This easily earned in-form Dore a ticket into the final in Mechelen, Belgium next month.

Dore, who produced a sparkling display in Stuttgart on Saturday, will be at the start as a virtual seed and a hot contender for outright success.

At the weekend, Dore’s ‘Sparkling Lackaghmore Joey’ jumped from another planet. Every distance was perfect, every turn was perfect.
