IN PICTURES: Huge crowds turn out at the Markets Field for Women's Junior Cup Final

In the Lyons Junior Cup Final Ballylanders came up against Herberstown. It took half an hour for the teams to settle into the match with a flurry of goals coming from both sides, the first from Ballylanders Eidin Murphy after 25 minutes closely followed by Herberstown's answer through Vanessa Harty.

Landers found the last goal of the half through Brid Condon to put them 2-1 ahead at half-time. Herberstown attempted to fight back in the second-half with their second goal from Katie O'Meara but it was Ballylanders who were too strong in the end with goals coming from Briodhna Lee and a second from Brid Condon to guide them to victory.

Photographer Sinead Kiely was at the Markets Field to capture all the colour and action of the final for the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live.
