IN THE LWSSL Open Cup final, Moyross faced Aishling Annacotty where 15 year-old Abbie Awaye was the star turn in the game. Chloe Kenna got Moyross on the scoreboard with a goal in the first 20 minutes of the game.
It took the majority of the first half for opposition, Aishling Annacotty to find an equalizer which they did through Zoe McInerney. Almost straight away off the re-start the young sensation, Awaye broke up the pitch to score an incredible goal to put Moyross 2-1 ahead at the break.
Annacotty could not find an answer in the second-half with Abbie Awaye netting her second goal of the final to give Moyross the Open Cup final win.
