LIMERICK Celtics' wheelchair side booked their spot in the National Cup semi final following their 52-35 win over Killester at the weekend.
Tiarnan O'Donnell was in fine form for Limerick with a scoring haul with 30-points. They now go on to face Rebel Wheelers in the the decider in two weeks' time.
Celtics hit the opening basket of the game inside the first minute and held a five-point advantage in the opening quarter. Killerster, however had brought that back to three by the end of the first, leaving the score at 14-11. O'Donnell hit form along with Jodie Waites in the second quarter to bring that advantage to 24-17 at half-time.
That lead remained at seven heading into the final quarter. Killester put Celtics under severe pressure late on O'Donnell's accuracy ensured the Limerick side advanced to the final.
