After a thrilling derby clash, it was St Munchin's College who dramatically came out on top 28-27 to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
The Corbally side will now meet another Limerick side, Castletroy College with a place in the semi-finals of the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup on offer for the winners.
