Referee Christophe Ridley takes charge of Munster Rugby's opening Heineken Champions Cup fixture
THE referees have been confirmed for Munster Rugby's opening two Heineken Champions Cup pool fixtures.
English official Christophe Ridley will be in the middle when Munster host five-time tournament winners, Stade Toulousain, renew at Thomond Park in their opening group fixture on Sunday, 11 December.
The Pool B match will kick off at 3.15pm. which will go out live and free-to-air in Ireland on RTE, as well as on BT Sport and SuperSport.
Munster's second Pool B fixture against Northampton Saints on Sunday, December 18 at 1pm will be refereed by French official Ludovic Cayre.
Limerick-based referee Andrew Brace has been appointed for the round one confrontation in Pool B between holders, Stade Rochelais, and Northampton Saints at Stade Marcel Deflandre.
Andrew Brace will also take charge of the second round Heineken Champions Cup meeting of Leicester Tigers and ASM Clermont Auvergne on Saturday, December 17 at 3.15pm.
