GARRYOWEN Rugby Club celebrated their annual golf classic last week at Castletroy Golf Club. Sponsored by Bon Secours the winner of the two-day event Ben Whelan and his team that represented Shannon Technical Services earning the win.
The full results saw Whelan and team win the Paul O'Byrne Perpetual Trophy with a score of 60 points. Second was Andrew Bermingham (Bermingham Insurance) with 59 points and third was Luke Barry (Manister House Stud). Jeff Hogan won the longest drive, while Darragh Hanly took home the nearest to the pin prize.
