PICTURES: Limerick transforms into a magical winter wonderland for good cause

Were you snapped at The Classic Christmas Carol Trail and do you feature in our latest gallery?

LIMERICK city came alive with music, theatre and festive spirit during The Classic Christmas Carol Trail.

Presented by CWB.ie, LimerickAtNight and supported by Limerick City and County Council, the Classic Christmas Carol Trail, was an enchanting, family-friendly event, that invited one and all to celebrate the heritage and community of Limerick at Christmas.

Over two nights in the run up to Christmas, the trail began at 6pm at the bandstand in People’s Park, where traditional carol groups perform beloved Christmas classics. Georgian-era costumed actors and singers then led attendees on a magical musical journey through the city, encouraging everyone to sing along.

A €5 charity donation per person was kindly suggested, with all proceeds supporting Novas.
