OVER 120 women attended the most recent Network Ireland Limerick event which was held in the Savoy Hotel in association with LEO Limerick and AIB.
Women in business from across the region heard how Gina London, former CNN Anchor and communications and leadership expert can inspire them to grab leadership positions in their own private and business lives.
She is currently CEO and founder of Language of Leadership Ltd. Gina’s interactive presentation was fine-tuned to help all present feel more confident and comfortable about presenting to and connecting with others.
"Each of us can develop the skills to become a more confident and comfortable communicator. You’re always communicating either by default or by design. You can take control of more in 2024!", Gina London said at the event.
Her tips for communicating to create maximum impact and purpose were very popular on the night with women from all over the Mid-West, members, and the wider network of women in Limerick in all kinds of roles and businesses.
She encouraged all present to be confident, communicate well, and grab the headlines in their own lives.
Fiona Doyle, President of Network Ireland, Limerick, said: "Gina saw to the heart of what our members wanted to learn about communications in her talk tonight.
"She truly inspired everyone there to look for more from themselves and others. Her talk was designed to interact with our members who are successful and engaging entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs from a wide variety of industries based in the Mid-West."
Network Ireland Limerick’s next event takes place on February 7 with a coffee morning in The Bedford Cafe in Bedford Row at 11am in aid of the charity of the year of Network Ireland Limerick president Fiona Doyle which is Feilecain.
Féileacáin is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during or after pregnancy.
