ORGANISERS have issued a ticket update ahead of the upcoming Munster SHC, which gets underway in less than two weeks’ time.

The Munster Council had previously announced that tickets for early games in the championship – including Limerick's away games against Cork and Clare – would only be available through clubs.

However, they have now confirmed that later rounds will go on general sale.

"Tickets for Round 4 and Round 5 of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship will go on general public sale on Wednesday, April 8 at 11am via Ticketmaster and participating Centra and SuperValu outlets," the provincial body announced on Tuesday afternoon.

These rounds include two Limerick matches – the games with Waterford (May 17) and Tipperary (May 24).

Both fixtures take place at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
