UPDATE: Search stood down for missing 17-year-old girl amid Garda update

The search for missing 17-year-old girl Elisabeta Milosiu, who was reported missing from Quigley’s Point/Carrowkeel, county Donegal on Sunday, October 19, 2025, has been stood down.

Elisabeta was described as being approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height, of slim build with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Elisabeta was wearing a black coat, black hoodie, black leggings, white socks and had a beige leather shoulder bag. She is known to frequent the Derry City area.

Gardaí issued the nationwide appeal on Tuesday as they were concerned for Elisabeta's welfare.

In an update on Wednesday morning, Gardaí have reported that Elisabeta has been found safe and well and they would like to thank the public for their assistance.
