RIP: 'Devastated'- Tributes pour in for father of two who died after tragic accident

RIP Paudie O'Reilly

Tributes have poured in for Padraig (Paudie) O'Reilly who died following a tragic accident recently.

Padraig was from Bawn, Killeshandra in Cavan and died on Sunday August 24th, tragically after a quad bike accident.

Padraig was the beloved husband of Schira and a devoted father to Grace and Finn.

He is sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, father Meehaul, mother Patricia, sisters and brother, Mairéad, Fearghal, Aishling, Sinead and Aoishe, parents in law Alan and Phil Lynch, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Heartfelt messages have rushed in on RIP.ie, with one mourner writing,

"Deepest sympathy to Schira, Grace, Finn O Reilly and Lynch family on the sad passing of Paudie. He was a real character always a smile on his face and was always willing to help whether it was information about something wrong with an animal or rushes growing in a field he would try to help you do something to treat the problem a wealth of knowledge for such a young man. RIP".

Another message said, "My heartfelt sympathies Schira, Grace and Finn on your enormous loss of a wonderful Husband and Daddy, I just have no words Meehaul and Pat, I know how much you loved Paudie and how much you will miss him, Aoishe, Sinead, Aishling, Mairéad and Fearghal You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Paudie was such a great lad and was loved and respected by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. My condolences to the extended O'Reilly and Lynch Families and to everyone who loved and will miss him. Thinking of you all now and in the times to come, Shine Bright Paudie. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis".

"Devastated to hear the sad news of paudie passing away. You will be missed by everyone who knew you. Condolences to Schira, Grace, Finn and all the O’Reilly family. RIP Paudie," another person said.
