Hi there! My name is Clara Gardiner, and I am honoured to be representing the Green and Red of Mayo in this years’ Rose of Tralee. I am 24 years old, and I hail from a small village called Kilfian in north Mayo. I am blessed to have the incredible scenic views of Downpatrick Head Céide Fields and Néphin, to name but a few, on my doorstep. I am a proud mummy to my son, Noah who turns 3 on the 7th of August this year, just before I start my journey on the Rose tour! I am also a full-time student in St. Angela’s Sligo, studying a bachelors’ degree in Home Economics education. In my spare time I love singing and playing my guitar at weddings, gigs or anywhere I can go! I also enjoy running, reading, baking, travelling and creating art. I am so excited for the journey ahead and the experiences the next two years as Mayo rose will bring. I will hopefully meet you somewhere along the way!
