Hello! I’m Shauna, I’m 28, and I come from Westport, County Mayo. I’m honoured to represent the Irish community in London at this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival. I’ve lived in London for nearly five years and work as a primary school teacher at St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School, having qualified from St Mary’s University in Twickenham. Teaching has always been a true devotion of mine, driven by a love for children and a desire to help them reach their potential. Gaelic football has been a passion of mine from a young age. I grew up playing with Westport LGFA and now proudly play for Round Towers London — a club that feels like a second home. I come from a very musical family and have sung from a young age. Music is a great source of comfort and pride, and I’ve performed at various events and competitions over the years. I’m looking forward to meeting all of the other International Roses and look forward to my year as the 2025 London Rose!
