Gardai in Wicklow have issued separate missing person appeals amid concerns for a man and young woman who have vanished from their homes.

The first appeal, issued on Friday night, relates to 50-year-old Jason Kenna, who has been reported missing from the Greystones since Tuesday, July 29.

Jason is described as approximately 5'10" in height, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes and gardai say he may be travelling in a silver Ford Focus bearing a 09WW registration.

Both gardaí and Jason’s family say they are concerned for his welfare and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Bray garda station on (01) 666 5300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.

Separately, an appeal has been issued for help in locating 17-year-old Abbey O'Brien who has been reported missing from her home in the Bray area.

According to gardai, she was last seen at Newcourt Road in the town at approximately 7.15pm on Friday.

The teenager is described as being approximately 5 feet tall with a slight build, long blonde hair and blue eyes.

It is unknown what she was wearing at the time she went missing.

Anyone with any information on Abbey's whereabouts is asked to contact Bray garda station on 01 666 5300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
