Gardaí have issued a reminder for people to respect disabled parking bays after two drivers were caught parking illegally at a busy seaside carpark in Dublin over the weekend.
Two people were spotted by gardaí parked in disabled bays without permits at Dollymount Beach in Clontarf.
In a post on social media, An Garda Síochána said that one of the drivers told them: "I'll move when someone with a disabled permit wants to park."

Gardaí down at Dollymount Beach in Clontarf over the weekend issued both these drivers with fines for using the disabled parking bay without a permit.

Both of the drivers were issued with fines for parking in the disabled parking bays without permits.
An Garda Síochána signed off the post by saying: "Please respect disabled parking bays."
