A 15-year-old boy who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.
Kealan Burns - described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height, with a slight build, brown hair and brown eyes - was reported missing from Kilminchy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois on Tuesday, June 24.
Kealan had been last seen in Portlaoise, Co. Laois on Tuesday morning, shortly after 10.45am. When last seen, Kealan was wearing a blue tracksuit.
"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
