Gardaí appeal for witnesses after young man hospitalised following serious assault
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward following a serious assault a residence in Dublin on Friday, 9 May which left a man in hospital.
The assault occurred in Kilcronan View, Clondalkin on Friday afternoon. The man aged in his 20s was sent to hospital following the incident to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. He is currently still in hospital.
Gardaí arrested two individuals on Saturday in connection to the assault, a man in his 20s as well as a boy in his late teens.

Both of them are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said: "Anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area between 12.30pm and 1.30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí."

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
