Out of this world! Rare celestial event to be visible across Irish skies this week
Irish sky gazers are in for a treat tonight as a rare planetary alignment knowns as a 'planet parade' will be visible on Tuesday night for the first time since 2018.
This uncommon celestial event means that six planets will be lined up in the sky, including Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus.
People in Ireland will be able to watch the mesmerising planet parade as the planets will be visible to most people across the northern hemisphere until 28 February.

Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye, however you will need a telescope to see Neptune and Uranus.
According to the resident Astronomer at Blackrock Observatory in Cork, Danielle Wilcox, the rare spectacle will be most visible on 27 February as there should be no moon in the sky which will make it easier to see fainter planets without the moon's bright light.
Make sure you don't miss out on this phenomenal planetary display!
