RTE Prime Time Leaders' Debate sparks heated conversation on social media
Following the leaders debate last night, conversation was sparked on the social media platform X.
One X user said, "Why even bother having a debate, if you are just going to rush it and stop people from talking when they are answering your question? Especially when it's a good answer. Massively bias. Ridiculous!!"

First 10 minutes of the Leaders Debate felt very inside journalism.

Can’t imagine that relations with press officers and a SF proposed review of RTÉ are the two biggest issues for voters.
Michael Martin must be delighted that the hosts are going after the other two.
Another X user said, "I am switching off this shambles of an @RTEprime_time debate! 1) Badly managed 2) Sinn Fein bashing 3) HARRIS AND MARTIN not ACCOUNTABLE for the lies told 4) Not quizzing Ff or FG on lack of delivery, zero empathy, false statements, and dependence upon Apple Penalty!!!"
