"Other members of Kevin’s family have joined his Mother in Rome to support Kevin as he continues to recover. The family have been blown away with the outpouring of love and support they have received and would like to thank you all for taking away the financial burden in such a worrying time.
"As Kevin is not out of the woods yet, we ask you to keep him in your thoughts and continue to pray for a full recovery. It is nothing short of a miracle what Kevin has achieved in the past two weeks," said the organiser of the fundraiser, Claire Connolly.
