Renewed appeal for information following discovery of man's body in recycling centre

Gardai investigating the discovery of a man's body at a recycling centre in Dublin a decade ago are renewing their appeal for information.

Mark Burke was last seen on Monday, July 28 2014 on Corrig Avenue in Dun Laoghaire. He was originally from Sandyford in South Dublin.

The remains of the 36-year-old were located in a recycling centre in Ballyfermot, Dublin on July 31, 2014.

In a renewed appeal to mark the anniversary, gardai say they continue to investigate the death of Mark Burke and are appealing to anyone with information in relation to his death, however insignificant it may seem, to come forward.

"Any person who may have seen or spoken to Mark in the areas of Dundrum and Dun Laoghaire prior to his death in July 2014 is also asked to contact gardaí," said a spokesperson.

Anyone with information in asked to contact Clondalkin garda station on 01 666 7632, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
