Rest in eternal peace: The late Shay (James) Lynch
FUNERAL arrangements have been announced this Monday for Shay (James) Lynch, who tragically died in a drowning incident at a swimming pool on Saturday.
The death of the seven-year-old from Shannonview, Ardnataggle, O'Brien's Bridge, Co Clare has shocked and decimated local communities with thousands of tributes being paid, including from Taoiseach Simon Harris.
According to Shay's death notice, he passed away "following a tragic accident".
Reposing in McMahon's Funeral Home, Blackwater, this Tuesday, April 23, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving for funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 24, in St Senan's Church, Clonlara, at 11am followed by burial afterwards in St Thomas' Church grounds, Bridgetown.
Shay is predeceased by his nana Christina and survived by his heartbroken family, parents James and Tania, sister Abi, grandparents Jerome, Joe and Kathleen, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
