Tributes have poured in for Glenroe actor, Emmet Bergin, who died suddenly at home.
Emmet Bergin died suddenly but peacefully, at home on March 15.
Originally from Dublin, he played Dick Moran in the popular RTE series, Glenroe.
He was also known for other roles, such as Ulfus in the film Excalibur, as well as his work in radio advertisements for the Irish Times.
Emmet has been remembered as a "devilishly humorous man" and a "pleasure to work with".
Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Sarah and loving Dad to Gavan and Tara. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, son-in-law Alan, his cherished grandson Jack, sister Siobhán, brothers Pat, Pearse and Allen, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Emmet will be reposing on Monday evening, March 25 (March 25th) from 5 to 7pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, (A94XK28).
A Service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 3.15pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.
