SEVERAL key members of John Kiely's Limerick senior hurling squad will be in action for their respective college sides in Wednesday's Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup semi-final fixtures.
Holders the University of Limerick host University of Galway in one Fitzgibbon Cup semi-final this Wednesday evening at Maguire's Field at UL. Throw in is at 8pm.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, Limerick's Mary Immaculate College squad travel to Dublin to face DCU Dóchas Eireann in their semi-final at the DCU Sportsgrounds, 6pm.
The likes of Limerick players Adam English, Aidan O'Connor, Colin Coughlan, Cathal O'Neill, Fintan Fitzgerald, Joe Fitzgerald and Darragh Langan are all part of the University of Limerick squad.
Shane O'Brien, Vince Harrington and Oisin O'Farrell are key members of the Mary Immaculate College squad.
The final of this year's Fitzgibbon Cup is set to take place at Croke Park on Friday, February 13 at 7.35pm.
