An investigation has been launched after a man’s body was discovered in Co Monaghan.
Gardai attended the scene in Dunsinare, Monaghan town, at around 7.50am on Wednesday.
The body remained at the scene on Wednesday evening and the scene was preserved for a technical examination.
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
It is understood that gardai are keeping an open mind about the case.
