Commuters in Dublin have been warned DART services will be delayed after coastal stations were flooded.

Irish Rail said commuters might be faced with delays of up to 30 minutes following multiple weather related issues between Booterstown and Dun Laoghaire.

“Very high tides and winds, seen here in Blackrock area, causing line flooding and affecting signalling,” they commented on social media.

“Please also take care and stay safe at coastal DART stations with waves overtopping onto platforms,” Irish Rail added.

According to Irish Rail, Dublin Bus are honouring valid rail tickets in affected areas.
