A painting product for children which has been sold in Ireland has been recalled, due to chemical and choking hazards.
A safety issue has been identified with a Graffiti Finger Paint Inkpad sold on the Joom platform and has been recalled by the CCPC.
The product presents a chemical risk, due to strong sensitisers present in it which can provoke allergic contact dermatitis to sensitised persons.
Additionally, the foam of the ink pad tears easily, which is hazardous for a small child who may put the foam in their mouth and choke.
The type/number of model is identification ATMC21F58-25 Couleur bleue. The brand, batch number and barcode are unknown.
The product was sold online through the Joom platform. The number of affected products in the Republic of Ireland is 16.
