Naas District Court
The man in his 40s arrested on Thursday 8th February 2024 as part of the investigation into the fatal incident which occurred in Kilcock, County Kildare, has been charged and is expected to appear before a special sitting of Naas District Court at 4pm this afternoon (Saturday 10th February 2024).
The man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder as part of this investigation.
The fatal assault occurred between 3pm and 4pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at a residence on School Street in Kilcock, County Kildare. A man in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post-mortem examination was conducted on the morning of, Friday, February 9, 2024, at the mortuary at Naas General Hospital by State Pathologist Sally Ann Collis.
