Anne Connors (17) had not been for several days - sparking a garda appeal
A teenage girl who was reported missing from her home in County Louth for several days has been located 'safe and well', gardai have confirmed.
A garda appeal was issued on Friday evening as they sought help in locating 17-year-old Anne Connors, who had not been seen since last Wednesday.
According to gardai, Anne is known to frequent County Dublin and they said she may have travelled there.
In a brief update, issued this Saturday, they confirmed that she has now been located.
"Anne Connors has been located safe and well. An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," said a spokesperson.
No information has been disclosed publicly as to how or where the teenager was located.
