THERE is another rugby wedding to add to our list this off-season, as a Connacht rugby star has officially tied the knot with his girlfriend at an intimate ceremony.

Rugby star, Tom Farrell and social media influencer, Chloe Boucher legally wed in The Dean Hotel, Galway ahead on Wednesday ahead of their ‘round two’ celebrations which are expected to take place later this month.

The pair got engaged close to Christmas in December, 2021. Influencer Chloe announced the two wed via a series of Instagram posts, saying: “It’s legal! Roll on round two”, as well as “Such a special day - it’s him admiring the new ring for me”.

Chloe continued on by thanking various Irish companies, including that of The Dean, which hosted the legal ceremony, as well as local flower company Go Dutch.ie and the Hungry Hooker, retired pro-rugby star Jonny Murphy, who owns his own baking business and who baked the couple’s wedding cake.

Dublin native Chloe, 30, and long term beau Tom, 29, currently live in Galway together, with Chloe relocating west in 2019. The two celebrated with close friends and family in Sophie’s Restaurant rooftop in the four star hotel, The Dean.

Some of the snaps on social media indicated pure delight, with the pair smiling from ear to ear as they ‘put a ring on it’. Videos and snaps of the venue, as well as guests, were openly shared.

Well known rugby stars and celebrities congratulated the pair on their new marriage, including that of Tom's teammates Bundee Aki and Adam Byrne, as well as Chloe's fellow Irish influencers Lisa Jordan and Bonnie Ryan.

The bride wore a unique, one sleeve ankle length white dress with a stunning frilled shoulder and white court heels. Tom was dressed in a smart casual suit jacket and pants, ditching the tie for an open-collar white shirt.

In January 2017, Tom signed for Connacht after spending a brief stint in the UK, with London Irish and Bedford Blues teams. He also represented Ireland on an international level, under-age.
