MUNSTER Rugby's women's assistant coach Niamh Briggs has stated that her team "aren't making a big deal out of Leinster" who they face in the second round of the Vodafone Women's Interprovincial Championship this Saturday in Virgin Media Park at 4:45pm.

The Munster women got off to a winning start in the campaign with a 29-22 victory over Ulster but it could have been a different story as Ulster fought back the difference in the second-half with Munster holding onto their lead to gain the victory.

Speaking at the Munster Rugby press conference during the week assistant coach Niamh Briggs spoke about the challenge facing her side this weekend.

"I don't think we are building this game up as much as the press are on the ground it's just another fixture for us. The inter-pros come thick and fast so you don't get time to look back it's all about the next game. Of course Leinster are going to be a serious test this Saturday but we know what we did wrong in the second-half against Ulster and the older girls in the group are great to show and talk about those things with the new girls so we feel prepared."

Leinster also got a win in their opening round of the inter-pros against Connacht last weekend with a 38-19 victory. The defending champions will be tough to beat but Munster's home advantage in Virgin Media Park will be crucial for the side hoping for a big crowd.
