MUNSTER Rugby's Antoine Frisch has been named by Fabien Galthie in a 32-man French Squad that will play two International tests against Argentina this July.
The squad will assemble at their Marcoussis training base this week, with 19 of the squad uncapped, including Frisch.
Munster confirmed in May that Frisch would be leaving the province for Toulon next season as the centre made his intentions known of his longing to play for this home country of France.
Frisch had been a fantastic addition since joining from Bristol in 2022. The 28-year-old has scored nine tries in 39 Munster appearances to date.
After the provinces disappointing end to the season crashing out of the URC semi-final after a 17-10 loss to Glasgow Warriors in Thomond Park last weekend Frisch will now have the opportunity of gaining his first cap for France.
The squad will of course take on a different hue once the Top 14 season is over, as it is currently lacking players from semi-finalists Toulouse, Stade Francais, Bordeaux-Begles or La Rochelle.
