BREAKING: Multiple-vehicle collisions causes long traffic delays in Limerick

A MULTIPLE-VEHICLE collision has occurred on the outskirts of Limerick city this Monday morning, reports Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).

It occurred at around 8.40am between J29 (N24) Ballysimon and J30 M7/N18/M20 (Rosbrien). It is affecting traffic heading westbound with the hard shoulder, lane 1 and lane 2 all affected.

The extent of injuries suffered by occupants of the vehicles, if any, is not known at this time.

A TII spokesperson said delays to your journey will occur. 

“Consider a different journey route or start time. When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and obey instructions from emergency services,” said the spokesperson.
