Man dies in farming accident on Cork-Limerick border

A MAN in his late 60s has died on the border between Limerick and Cork.

He passed away following a farming accident after working with machinery.

The incident is understood to have occurred shortly after 4pm.

Paramedics attended the scene, but he was pronounced dead before he could be transferred into Cork University Hospital.

It’s understood the man sustained crush injuries.
