In Pictures: St Patrick's Day brings joy and excitement to Adare as parade returns after 23 years

THERE were celebrations in Adare this St Patrick's Day as the village welcomed huge crowds to what was the first parade in 23 years.

Dolly O’ Neill, whose in her 99th year,  previously marched as part of the Irish Red Cross community decades ago, now Adare’s oldest resident, led the procession as Grand Marshal.
