Man hospitalised after early morning collision in county Limerick

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene this Wednesday morning

A MAN in his 20s has been hospitalised following a two vehicle collision on the N69 near Foynes.

He was taken to University Hospital Cork after the incident, which occurred at approximately 7am this Wednesday morning, August 7.

A garda spokesperson confirmed to Limerick Live that local diversions are still in place.

It is understood that the incident involved a car and a truck.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene this morning.

Two units from Limerick Fire and Rescue Services were dispatched; one unit from Foynes Fire Station and one unit from Rathkeale.
