Gardaí and Limerick Fire and Rescue Service are attending the scene.
EMERGENCY services are attending a two-vehicle collision on the N69 between Askeaton and Foynes which occurred early this Wednesday morning.
A section of the road is currently closed, with local diversions put in place.
The incident occurred shortly before 7am this Wednesday morning, August 7.

It is understood that the incident involved a car and a truck.
Limerick Fire and Rescue Service received a call about the collision at 7:02am, and arrived at the scene at 7:10am. One unit from Foynes and one unit from Rathkeale are attending the scene.
