GET into the Christmas spirit with a craft fair, coffee morning and cake sale at St Gabriel’s School, Dooradoyle this Friday, December 8 from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

The children have been working hard, making cute Christmas crafts that would be just perfect hanging off your tree. All proceeds will be going directly to St Gabriel’s School.

A musician will add to the festive atmosphere. As well as buying crafts, coffee and cakes you could also win presents in a big raffle.

St Gabriel's Parents Association hopes everyone who is available will pop in, say hello and support the children and the school.

“We have been working as hard as Santa’s elves here preparing for the big day in St Gabriel’s school this Friday, December 8. We are asking all businesses to call in for their coffee break and anyone at all that lives in the area to stop by,” said Sinead O'Brien, one of the organisers.

She said the event will be full of friendly faces and a chance to appreciate what the spirit of Christmas is really all about.

“Special thanks to pupils from Crescent College who helped children design and build their crafts and to all the amazing local businesses for vouchers, hampers, prizes for our raffle.

“We are really looking forward to it and hope to see so many faces, old and new there,” continued Sinead.
