THE LIVES of Limerick music lovers will be celebrated during A Night To Remember charity gig.

An evening of music in honour of Mary Rowan and Jim O’Mahony will take place in Dolan’s Warehouse on February 3 - and all proceeds will go to charity.

Dedicated members of Limerick’s music scene, and having met at a local gig years ago, the pair were known for their ready self-deprecation, dry sense of humour and interest in those from all walks of life.

Lovers of their city – and hugely loved by those in it – Mary and Jim will be remembered by several artists, including The Malley’s, Paul O’Connor and Izzy Olsthoorn, Paul O’Sullivan, Sean Kelly, Ian Harris, The Salty Dogs, and Jerry McMahon.

All proceeds of A Night To Remember will go to Milford Hospice, Oseophageal Cancer Research, and Parkinson’s Association Limerick.

On the night, there will be a raffle including tickets for upcoming concerts, original artwork from local artists Rachel Murphy Mannix and Emma Mullane, as well as hotel and restaurant vouchers.
