Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett
TREATY United will target a much-needed win in the SSE Airtricity League First Division this Monday night when travelling to Bishopsgate to face Longford Town in a re-arranged fixture, 7.45pm.
The game had originally been due to be played in mid-March but was called off after the pitch failed an inspection following heavy rainfall.
Luckless Treaty United's bid for a first league win since March were scuppered by a 97th minute equaliser for Wexford FC in a dramatic 2-2 draw at the Markets Field on Friday night.
Injury-hit Treaty had looked all set to secure the three precious league points on offer, only for Kaylem Harnett to pop up with a last gasp equaliser for the visitors.
The result sees Treaty United sit in eighth-place in the First Division table, now eight points off the promotion play-off positions.
Monday night's opponents Longford Town currently prop up the First Division table, on seven points, six points behind Treaty.
