Treaty United open Women's Premier Division campaign with victory over DLR Waves

TREATY United opened their SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division campaign with an impressive 2-0 victory over DLR Waves at the Markets Field on Saturday evening.

The win by the new-look Treaty United side was the club's first home league success since June 2021.

Two second half goals from Republic of Ireland U17 star Katie Lawlee on 53 minutes and Erin Van Dolder 10 minutes later secured all three points for a Treaty United side who are being managed by former Republic of Ireland international Dominic Foley.

Next up for Treaty United is a trip to Tallaght Stadium to face Shamrock Rovers on Saturday, March 30 at 5pm.
