THE fixture details have been confirmed for Limerick's Division 1 Allianz Hurling League semi-final next weekend.
League holders Limerick will renew rivalry with Kilkenny in their league semi-final on Saturday next, March 23, at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The game will have a 4.30pm throw-in and will be live on TG4.
Limerick defeated Kilkenny to make it a four-in-a-row of All-Ireland senior hurling titles, easing past 'the Cats' 0-30 to 2-15 in their final showdown at Croke Park last July.
John Kiely's Limerick side also defeated Kilkenny by 2-20 to 0-15 in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last April.
Limerick completed their programme of 2024 Division 1B Allianz Hurling League fixtures after playing out a 0-17 each draw with Galway at a wet Pearse Stadium, Salthill on Saturday afternoon.
The second of this year's Division 1 Allianz Hurling League finals will take place at Laois Hire O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on Sunday, March 24 when Munster rivals Clare and Tipperary go head-to-head. The game, which throws-in at 4pm will also be live on TG4.
