IT'S coming down to the end of the National League basketball season with only another month left for teams to gain as many wins to try and qualify for finals.
In the men's National League Limerick Celtics sit at the top of the southern conference and will face Killarney Cougars away this Saturday at 7:00pm.
Celtics had an impressive 92-82 victory over Scotts Lakers Killarney last weekend at home with latest signing Da'kquan Davis scoring 30 points.
Limerick Sport Eagles will also play on Saturday as they host Moy Tolka Rovers in the UL Arena at 7:00pm. Eagles had a surprised loss away to SETU Waterford last weekend loosing by four points on a score line of 94-90. They will be aiming to bounce back with a win on their home court Saturday.
It's a local derby in the women's national league as Limerick Celtics host rivals Limerick Sport Huskies in Crescent College this Sunday at 3:15pm.
Huskies won their latest game against Mable City Hawks last weekend as Celtics fell short to a stronger St Pauls Killarney side.
