The quarter-final action will begin with the Limerick derby meeting of Mary Immaculate College, Limerick and TUS Midwest at Mary Immaculate College at 2pm.

Mary Immaculate College secured home advantage in the quarter-final stage thanks to winning their group with wins over UCC, 1-25 to 0-20, and Maynooth University, 2-23 to 1-19.

Mary Is opponents this Wednesday, TUS Midwest, recovered from an opening round defeat to holders UL to secure a vital 5-24 to 3-14 home victory over ATU Galway in their second group game and so secure their progress to the knock-out stages.

In the second Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-final this Wednesday, holders UL host UCC at Maguire's Field, UL, with an 8pm throw-in.
