IT'S FINALS weekend in the Limerick football championships with four deciders due to take place across Saturday and Sunday.

The big one sees Adare and Newcastle West face off in the Irish Wire Products Limerick SFC decider for the third year in succession.

Newcastle West are going for three titles in a row, while Adare are looking to win their first senior championship crown since 2020. Their final takes place at 2pm at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

On Saturday, Drom-Broadford and Mungret St Paul's meet in the Griffins Coaches IFC final with the prize on offer being a place in the senior championship for next year.

Drom-Broadford were relegated to senior in 2020 and lost last year's final to Na Piarsaigh. Throw-in for the IFC final is at 3pm in Askeaton.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Newcastle West are also in action in the Woodlands House Hotel Premier Junior A Football Championship final against Feenagh-Kilmeedy.

Feenagh-Kilmeedy are looking to bounce back from their hurling final heartbreak last week with a win in the junior football equivalent. That game takes place in Killeedy at 1pm.

Mungret are also in the Junior A Football Championship final against Camogue Rovers. That game has a 12pm start on Sunday in Fedamore.
