THE Ireland U19 rugby squad will travel to the south of France in April to play two fixtures against their French counterparts early next month.
Recently head coach Mark Butler (Munster Rugby) along with his assistant coaches Andrew Browne (Connacht Rugby) and Johnny Graham (Ulster Rugby) exposed 41 players to international age grade rugby in a two-game series against Japan in Dublin. The series was drawn with the Brave Blossoms winning the opening fixture 22-19 and Ireland claiming victory 42-41 in the second fixture.
Ireland U19 play their first game against France U19 on April 8 in Graulhet (KO: 2.00pm IST) with the second game taking place on April 12 in Cahors (KO: 6.00pm IST).
