Limerick PhD graduate releases new book

Limerick PhD graduate Arthur Broomfield from Laois has released a new book An Ireland of Snakes and Bollards
A PHD graduate from Mary Immaculate College has released his second novel, which is also his fourteenth book.
Arthur Broomfield from Laois has just released his second novel, An Ireland of Snakes and Bollards.
Mr Broomfield explained that while writing is quite solitary, he uses the time after a book is released to go out and meet people.
“Writing can be very isolating – it has to be and I want total silence. When the book is done, then I go around selling it and call to solicitors, hairdressers and businesses – it’s like two different worlds.”
Mr Broomfield has already brought his book to Adare, Newcastle West and Kilmallock, with many other areas left to visit and he dedicates three days a week to this effort.
“I’ve gotten fantastic feedback and I had one lady in Kilmallock who told me she has read all of my books,” Mr Broomfield said.
It is available from buythebook.ie or direct from the author on his travels around Limerick.
