National School pupils get inventive to plough on to school and back in the snow

Students had a snow day or two across the county this week in the cold snap due to the heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures.

For many though, it was back to the books and back school on Thursday with the conditions easing somewhat. At Glenswilly National School, it certainly was a team effort, as, yesterday evening, scholars Odhran Pat McDaid with his cousins Caitlin and Eoghan Sharkey pulled along little Dualtach Sharkey as they returned home from school in snowy Donegal. There was 'snow way' they weren't going to make it to school and back.
