Limerick junior soccer clubs Fairview Rangers and Janesboro to play in round one of the FAI Cup

Limerick duo learn their fate in

THE draw for the Men’s FAI Cup first round has been made at FAI headquarters in Abbotstown with 24 teams competing in the first step on the road to the Aviva Stadium for the 2026 competition.

Two sides from the Limerick District League are among the 24 - Fairview Rangers and Janesboro.

Treaty United and other League of Ireland Clubs will enter the Men’s FAI Cup in the second round and will be joined by the winning 12 sides from this year’s first round drawn today.

The 12 first round fixtures which will take place on the week ending Sunday, May 17 with full fixtures to be announced in due course.

Fairview Rangers will host Dublin side Tolka Rovers, while Janesboro will journey to Tipperary to play St Michaels.
